Description

Under the direct supervision of the Manager of Social Enterprise and Volunteers the Driver for Encore Market will drive the company truck, pick up donations, which will include moving furniture to and from the truck, making decisions on acceptable donations, clean merchandise and assist in the day to day running of YWCA Regina Encore Secondhand Market. This team member will work closely with the Store Manager to provide support if needed.

Duties and Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
*Drive the YWCA Regina Fleet Vehicle
*Make decisions on donated items
*Clean and repair items that are deemed satisfactory for resale
*Assist the Appliance Repair person with repair, disassembly and cleaning of appliances
*Moving furniture to and from the transport truck
*Ensure excellent customer donation experiences
*Assist with the store duties as needed
*Must be available Thursday, Friday and Saturday

Skills and Abilities:
*Strong Communication
*Good time management
*Detail Oriented
*Skills in problem-solving, managing multiple demands, and responding appropriately to incidents and needs as they arise
*Ability to prioritize tasks and adjust schedule to meet association needs-flexibility
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team
*Ability to perform physical labor that involves movement for the majority of shifts and ability to lift items over 50lbs

Qualifications:
*Cultural awareness, and respect for women and families of various backgrounds
*Working from a feminist, anti-oppressive / anti-racist perspective
*High school diploma/GED.
*Highly organized and efficient with a methodical approach to work practices with strong emphasis on quality.
*Valid 5th Class Saskatchewan Drivers License- with clean driving record
