The City strives to be an engaged and diverse employer with approximately 200 employees. The City of Weyburn is offering an opportunity to work in the Public Works Department as an Operator I. As we continue to grow and prosper as a community, we seek a motivated and innovative employee to join our team!
The Public Works Operator is responsible for the safe, efficient operation of vehicles and equipment to carry out work related to the maintenance and operation of the Public Works Department.

Education
    Grade 12 education or equivalent GED;
    Certificate in Traffic Control considered an asset.
    Possession and maintenance of a valid Saskatchewan Class 5 licence required; must obtain a valid Class 3A licence within the first six months of employment .
    Hand signal training required.
Experience
    No previous municipal experience required.
    1  3 years experience operating at minimum one of the following: excavator, grader, compactor, loader or skid steer required.

    Job Status  Permanent Full Time
    Benefits and Remuneration  Commensurate with the CUPE Local 90 Collective Agreement

    Wage: $26.80 As per CUPE Local 90 CBA
