Sask Asphalt Maintenance Ltd is Looking for experienced laborers for 2026 work season. Work consists of Asphalt work (Pothole repairs and other Handwork), Rubberized Crack Filling, Slurry Sealing and Line Painting.

Job Duties include but are not limited to inspections, basic maintenance, hooking up trailers, driving trucks with trailers, cleaning equipment, shoveling sand and asphalt, sweeping, cleaning, raking, lifting over 80lbs, walk behind compactors, running blowers/ sweepers, mopping slurry and walking 10+ Kms a day.

This is not an Equipment operator job, manual labor only.

You must be in good physical shape and be able to work in the heat.

Workdays are Monday to Friday with approx. 6 to 8 weeks of overnight out of town work.

Shared accommodations are provided when out of town along with a $50 Per diem.

Approx 50 to 60 hours per week.

Working Season is Generally from last week of April to Early October

Guaranteed year end retention bonus of $4000

The following are required to be considered for the position

- Class 5 License and experience driving with Trailers

- Reasonable Drivers Abstract & Criminal record check

- 2 or more years experience with General Labor Jobs

The following are assets but not required.

- Asphalt paving or Asphalt Maintenance experience

- First Aid Cert.

- Flag persons Course or TAS

- Class 1 License or heavy trailer endorsement

- Above average mechanical aptitude

- Knowledge of Safety Programs

Employees must have their own Steel Toed boots- Other PPE provided
