Sask Asphalt Maintenance Ltd is looking for a Foreman or Foreman in Training for the 2026 season. The Foreman position is a Laborer & Supervisor position that reports to the Operations Manager. Work consists of Pothole repair, Line Painting, Rubberized Crack Filling and Slurry Sealing.
Foreman is responsible for managing the crew, jobsite, operating equipment, equipment inspections/ maintenance, quality control, communicating with employees & Operations Manager along with overseeing all day-to-day operations.
As well as but are not limited to filling in paperwork, holding daily employee meetings, shoveling, sweeping, cleaning, raking, lifting over 80lbs, operating walk behind compactors, backpack blowers/ sweepers, asphalt routers, air compressors, repairing machinery and vehicles, walking 10+ Kms a day and working outside in the elements.
Wage:
- Foreman $34.00 to $38 per hour $7000 year end retention bonus guaranteed.
- Foreman in Training $30 to $33 with $5000 year end retention bonus

Workdays are:
Monday - Friday with approx. 4-6 weeks of overnight or out of town work. *Occasional Saturday mornings only when required.*
Private accommodation is provided when out of town as well as $50 per diem.
Approx. 55-65 hours per week average.
Season is usually from late April to mid October
Willing to Train qualified candidate
The following are required to qualify for position
- Reasonable Drivers Abstract and criminal records check
- Trailering Experience
- High Mechanical Aptitude and Mechanical experience
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Asphalt paving/ Asphalt Maintenance or labor based trade - oilfield, construction, landscaping etc.
- Strong understanding of Safety Programs and documentation
