The Ministry of Highways is hiring an Equipment Operator for the Leader Section to support the operation and maintenance of Saskatchewans provincial transportation network. The role ensures public safety through road, highway, and airport maintenance. Duties include operating and maintaining heavy equipment such as tandem trucks, graders, and loaders for summer and winter work; using advanced hydraulic controls during snowplow operations; completing daily records; and performing physically demanding tasks in challenging weather. The position requires teamwork, adaptability, sound decisionmaking, situational awareness, basic computer skills, and the ability to work flexible hours.

A valid Class 1A license is required, and candidates must provide a current driver abstract if interviewed.
