Qualifications:
A drivers license.
Computer skills in Microsoft programs (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email, etc.)
Able to work flexible office hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to work with senior members of the administrative team, and capable of fostering and maintaining effective working relationships.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Customer Service assisting clients with restaurant, activity and lodging suggestions; developing maps for tourists, offering information on road and weather conditions, and assist with campground bookings.
2. Development of Travel and Activity Packages researching and connecting with local businesses to develop and maintain up to date information on visitor experience opportunities.
3. Major Local Events assist in planning and facilitating any large community events that attract visitors and promote the community.
4. Partnerships work in partnership with the Chamber of Commerce, Kindersley & District Plains Museum, and any other community groups.
5. Work closely with Tourism Saskatchewan to promote local, regional, and provincial attractions and destinations.
