In this role, you will support the development and maintenance of WSAs enterprise data repository, ensuring data quality, integrity, security, and accessibility for internal teams and external partners. You will conduct quality control processes, manage data conversion and loading to geo-databases, develop and maintain metadata, monitor data currency, and support user access and back-up requirements. You will also provide hands-on technical support to staff across the organization.
As part of a collaborative team of geomatics technologists and professionals, you will contribute to the design and development of custom GIS applicationsassessing client needs, researching solutions, developing prototypes (including coding), and documenting both technical and user-facing materials.
The successful candidate will have a Degree in Geography, Environmental Sciences, Planning, Computer Science, Water Resources Engineering or a similar discipline with an emphasis in GIS and other geomatics applications.
