Description

Tourism Saskatchewan is a provincial Treasury Board Crown Corporation whose purpose is to promote Saskatchewan as a tourism destination by providing in and out-of-province marketing, delivering visitor services and developing tourism experiences.

The organization is seeking a Vice-President of Corporate Services and Chief Financial Officer based in Regina. This position provides fiscal reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Tourism Saskatchewans Board of Directors and the Province of Saskatchewan. As part of the Executive Leadership Team, this position leads strategic planning and accountability reporting for the organization and implementation of business plans for the Corporate Services portfolio. It also provides leadership to the organizations senior management team in development of annual operating and capital budgets to support strategic and business plans. This position is responsible for the Finance and Administration, Digital Services, Human Resources, and Planning and Research departments.

The successful candidate will possess a CPA designation with a minimum 10 years of relevant experience in progressively responsible positions where business and financial acumen skills have been honed. Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics is a great asset. Demonstrated leadership abilities and a proven track record in financial services and strategic planning is necessary. Superior communication skills, both verbal and written, are also required. Experience with financial management is needed including preparation of annual budgets that support both strategic and business plans is a necessity. Previous experience managing a multi-functional team is needed. Experience working with a Board of Directors is preferred.
