Profile Description: The Executive Secretary reports to the Executive Director of St. Anthony's Hospital and is accountable for maintaining and promoting an efficient office environment and providing confidential secretarial support to St. Anthony's Hospital Board, Medical Staff and Department/Program Managers and positions to assist them in carrying out their duties and responsibilities
Experience: Three (3) years experience
Education: Completion of Grade 12 supplemented by a recognized business course
Competencies:
- Advanced Organizational Skills
- Intermediate Computer and Keyboarding Skills
- Communication Skills
Knowledge & Abilities:
- Requires proficiency with a variety of computer applications
- Maintain a high level of integrity and confidentiality
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to prioritize to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure
- Ability to produce professional documents using various computer applications
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
- Knowledge in organization's goals, vision, mission and values
