Job Title: Project Controls Manager
Reports To: General Manager
Location: Saskatoon Head Office
Job Summary: The Project Control Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of project
planning, scheduling monitoring and reporting company projects. Project Controls play
a crucial role in ensuring that the projects are completed on time, within budget, and
the required quality standards.
Scope of Responsibilities:
Consult with creating and maintaining estimation workflows, processes and procedures.
Consult with updating estimate template documentation and data within documents (labour &
equipment rates, safety stats, etc.)
Consult with cross-departmental communication of changes (new hires, changes to reporting
structures/roles, new process or procedures, etc.)
Support internal cross-departmental kick-off meetings (after handover from Estimates to Projects)
Responsible for timely accounts receivable and accounts payable activities.
Lead the project controls staff, acting as the primary contact between project controls, the project
management team, and the client.
Execute the program controls plan as developed by the program controls manager.
Provide training and support to internal and external stakeholders on project controls technology
and processes.
Manage project controls quality and consistency plans, interface with clients, attend program
meetings, and create statistical reports
Develop and manage program reporting data warehouses and present client-facing report
