As an HR Generalist, you will be responsible for participating in a broad range of human resource functions including policy and procedure development/implementation, recruitment and selection, employee orientation, training and development, the performance management system, employee relations, and the compensation system including benefits.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
1. Conduct the end-to-end recruitment process for all positions within PTI Transformers.
2. Oversee your departmental portfolios and providing ongoing support and advice to leaders.
3. Provide support and guidance to Managers and Supervisors regarding the performance management process.
4. Oversee training and development for employees.
5. Coordinate and administer benefit and pension plans.
6. Maintain HR policy and procedures documentation in compliance with ISO 9001 standards.
7. Collaborate with Safety Specialists to communicate and train employees on new and revised EHS policies/procedures.
8. Performing other duties as allocated.
WHAT IT TAKES
Apply today if you meet the following requirements:
1. Undergraduate program or equivalent education in Human Resource Management.
2. At least 3 years of HR work experience (e.g., recruitment, onboarding, coaching, performance management, organizational change, compensation, job evaluation, return to work/claims management).
3. Demonstrated knowledge of legislation and legislative requirements (Human Rights, Saskatchewan Employment Act).
4. Knowledge of duty to accommodate, WCB, and return to work.
5. Demonstrated experience administering benefits and pension programs.
6. Understanding of models of conflict management, mediation, problem solving, and influence.
7. Understanding of the broad view and function of human resources and best practices.
8. Understanding of coaching, mentoring, leadership, problem-solving, conflict management, corrective discipline, and employee terminations.
