Purpose:

Responsible for assisting group home residents with educational, social, and recreational needs, and to organize and carry out activities. Also responsible for managing the residential group home in the absence of the GH Coordinator.

Job Context:

The values of the organization require that all positions support the mission and initiatives of LutherCare Communities. Under limited supervision from the GH Coordinator, the Program Team Lead will assist residents to and from planned programs and organize programs. such as outings, entertainment, crafts, parties, etc. In the absence of the GH Coordinator, the Program Team Lead is responsible for the overall running of the residential group home. The Program Team Lead may be responsible for administering all medication treatments/interventions as trained by professionals as well as to ensure all staff have been trained appropriately.
