Description

Executive Director
Montreal Lake Child and Family Agency (MLCFA) is seeking a highly energetic Executive Director to lead, manage, and oversee the agency's programs, services, finances, personnel, and public relations. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director ensures policies are implemented effectively, funding agreements are managed, and compliance with legislation is maintained, all while supporting the well-being of children and families in the community.

Key Responsibilities:
Governance & Administration: Advise the Board, facilitate meetings, ensure policy implementation, and oversee tripartite agreements.
Program & Service Delivery: Lead annual planning, program development, evaluation, and ensure culturally appropriate service delivery.
Personnel Management: Oversee recruitment, orientation, training, evaluations, and maintain HR records aligned with policies.
Financial Oversight: Prepare budgets, monitor expenditures, maintain financial controls, and support annual audits, CHRT Applications
Public Relations & Liaison: Build and maintain partnerships with funders, governments, and community stakeholders.

Qualifications:
Master of Social Work or Bachelor of Indian Social Work/Bachelor of Business Administration plus 3 years of administrative experience
Minimum 5 years in Child and Family Services
Strong understanding of Indigenous child welfare legislation, Cree culture, and MLCFA'A mission
Skills in budgeting, HR, planning, and conflict resolution
Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and willingness to travel
Proficient in Microsoft Office
CPIC and Vulnerable Sector Check required
