Description

Reporting to the Team Manager, UAT, this position is responsible for the following:
Attend design and requirement meetings for assigned projects as UAT Lead.
Review project specifications.
Perform User Acceptance Testing of the Functional Requirements of all SCIC systems and programs.
Prepare, review, document, set up and maintain a detailed test plan, and detailed test criteria and data that conform to the corporate project life cycle standards.
Provide time estimates for the testing phase of projects and identify conflicting priorities.
Execute the test plan and confirm results for completeness, accuracy, and ease of use.
Identify, record and distribute problem logs.

The knowledge and skills required for this position are acquired through completion of a diploma in Information Technology or Software Testing, with a minimum of six months of recent directly related experience. Consideration may be given to those with an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Sound knowledge of testing practices and methodologies.
Knowledge of corporate programs and the associated computer applications.
Demonstrates integrity with a focus on service excellence and innovation.
Innovative thinker with exceptional analytical and problem solving skills.
Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
Strong communication skills.
Demonstrates accountability with excellent time management skills.
Experience with computer applications, specifically databases, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
