Description

The ED/Registrar will be responsible for the administration and operations of SCRT in accordance with provincial bylaws while ensuring that SCRTs  Mission, Vision, Values and Strategic Plan are being prioritized.
Duties
Provide organizational leadership to oversee day-to-day operations, including issuing licenses and managing the annual license renewal process, overseeing out-of-province transfers and requirements for new graduate applicants, coordinating requirements for internationally educated applicants and maintaining the register of the College
Oversee the development and implementation of new and amended statutes,  regulations, and bylaws as required for College operations to align with government policy
Represent the organization in communication with government organizations, national bodies and other stakeholders
Manage organizational budgets and accurate financial records, reviewing regularly with the Executive Committee and Council
Supervise staff and provide mentorship to cultivate an effective team
Maintain membership database and website
Involvement in an advisory role for provincial education programs for the profession, with knowledge of the accreditation process

Requirements
Post-secondary degree or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience and a demonstration of management responsibilities, including supervisory experience with skills in collaboration and problem-solving
Ability to interpret and apply legislation and regulatory frameworks
Demonstrated knowledge in financial management and budgeting experience within the public, private, community, or non-profit sector
Exceptional written and oral communication skills
Sound knowledge of government regulatory oversight and processes
Strategic planning experience
A working knowledge of respiratory therapy (or other related healthcare field) would be an asset
Must be a Canadian resident and must reside in Saskatchewan
