The Saskatoon Housing Authority is currently recruiting a Maintenance Technician. Our Maintenance Technicians are responsible for providing a high standard of maintenance, repair, safety, and security in provincially owned properties. This position participates in a rotational on call schedule and responds to after-hours calls, taking responsive action. The position will work closely with Caretakers, Field Services Support Technicians, and contractors to ensure tenant needs are met within the housing authority guidelines and policies.

Scope of Work:
-General maintenance repair and service, including minor carpentry, electrical, heating, and plumbing work.
- Vacancy preparation.
- Annual inspections and move-in inspections.
- Coordinates completion of work with contractors as required
- Assist site Caretakers with maintenance items
- Offer same day service on all tenant work orders.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- A certificate, grade 12, or equivalent.
- Experience in property maintenance for 2 years or more.
- Possession of a valid driver's license, ownership of a roadworthy vehicle, and additional vehicle liability insurance.
- A clear criminal record with vulnerability check.
