Description

The Swift Current Agricultural & Exhibition Association is seeking an Administrative Clerk to support office operations for Frontier Days, Cowboys and Chrome, Docs Town Heritage Village, and other programs. This role focuses on organization, communication, and financial administration, including registrations, documentation, and customer service. The Administrative Clerk will assist staff, volunteers, vendors, and participants while ensuring records and processes are accurate and efficient.
Key Responsibilities
    Provide administrative support to event and program staff.
    Organize, file, and maintain applications, agreements, registrations, and forms.
    Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and manage email communication.
    Create, edit, and organize digital and physical files.
    Assist with online and in-person sales and customer transactions.
    Support accounts receivable and payable tasks and basic bookkeeping.
    Prepare reports, attendance records, and summaries.
    Use software including Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Canva, Square, Assistexpo, and QuickBooks.
    Assist with promotional materials and general office coordination.
Qualifications
    Post-secondary education in Business, Office Administration, Accounting, or related field preferred.
    Must a youth 15 to 30 years of age.
    Strong organizational and communication skills.
    Comfortable working with computers and learning new software systems.
    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    Fluent in written and spoken English.
Additional Assets
    Experience with bookkeeping or financial record keeping.
    Customer service experience.
    Attention to detail and accuracy with data entry.
