Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic summer student. Reporting to the Supervisor and the Museum Board of Directors the Museum Assistant will be assist in the daily operations of the Heritage Museum including opening/closing, museum promotion, and some cleaning. Conducting tours of the museum by following guidelines and school curriculum. Catalogue and display artifacts. Research artifacts as required.
Excellent computer (Microsoft Word and Excel) and communication skills are required.
No experience necessary, training will be provided
Applicants must be a full time student who is registered to return to full time studies in the fall of 2026.  Must be available mid-May to end of August during daytime hours from Wednesday to Sunday.  Must meet the Young Canada Works grant criteria and be willing to set up an account at Young Canada Works.
