The Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority (SLGA) is seeking a self-motivated and detail-oriented individual to provide support as a Gaming Integrity Investigator within the Gaming Integrity and Licensing Branch.
This position is required to work on-site, reporting to the Manager, Gaming Integrity.
The Gaming Integrity Investigator is responsible for providing regulatory oversight of gaming operations across Saskatchewan. Appointed as Special Constables as per The Alcohol and Gaming Regulation Act, 1997, they conduct inspections and investigations into charitable gaming, casino operations, gaming suppliers, technical gaming systems, unlicensed gaming activities, and lotteries. They ensure compliance with provincial and federal legislation, including the Criminal Code, the Financial Transactions and Reports Analysis Centre of Canada (FINTRAC), and anti-money laundering (AML) requirements, while also supporting various SLGA branches such as Charitable Gaming, Registration, Grants, and Liquor Licensing. Their assessments and investigational findings directly inform SLGA decisions to uphold public trust and maintain the integrity of gaming in the province.
