Description

The Pool Coordinator & Head Guard will work at D.A. Mackenzie Aquatic Center to provide overall coordination of the lifeguard and instructor of pool services for the Town of Esterhazy and its citizens.
Duties and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Community Development & Recreation Director or designate, you will;
    Coordinate and Administer Learn to Swim programs, Swimming Lessons and community programs
    Develop a schedule for pool use including public swims, lessons and other activities
    Manage and deliver staff in-service training.
    Manage and schedule lifeguards and instructors.
    Conduct Bronze Medallion, Bronze Cross and Instructor training
    Evaluate pool activities
    Responsible for restocking the canteen and balancing admittance and canteen daily
    Accountable for timesheets and activity tracking
    Enforce the pool rules and regulations, investigate concerns answer inquiries
    Maintain the safety and cleanliness of the facility
    Perform other related duties as needed
Requirements
    Minimum age 16
    Swim for Life Certification or LSI Award
    National Lifeguard Certificate
    Lifesaving Aquatic Supervisor Training
    Life saving Bronze Cross and Bronze Medallion
    Standard First Aid, CPR level C and AED

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
    Pool Operator course would be an asset
    Be trained in facility safety systems and emergency procedures
