The Ministry of Government Relations is seeking an experienced leader in construction codes and technical safety standards to support the Building and Technical Standards Branch. Reporting to the Executive Director, the role includes reviewing updates to national codes and assessing impacts on Saskatchewan policy, proposing amendments, collaborating with the Chief Codes Administrator through the Canadian Board for Harmonized Construction Codes, participating in provincial technical safety alignment across disciplines and supporting Saskatchewans representation on the ProvincialTerritorial Advisory Committee.

Candidates should have several years of experience with construction codes and technical safety standards and be registered or eligible for registration as a professional engineer, architect or architectural technologist, with supplementary experience such as building official licensing or training in energy codes considered an asset.
