The RM of Redburn municipal office is located in Moose Jaw at the Regional Municipal Plaza. The municipality is primarily agriculture and has a 2024 census population of 253.
The Administrator is accountable to Council, overseeing the municipality's operations by adhering to RM of Redburns policies, bylaws, and all responsibilities outlined by the Ministry in The Municipalities Act, as well as complying with provincial and federal regulations. This role involves offering guidance and recommendations to Council on matters such as human resources, strategic planning, policies, bylaws, and budget development. The administration team under the RM of Redburn supervises additional staff and collaborates closely with the Foreman of the Transportation Department.
Qualifications:
Certificate in Local Government Administration or equivalent
A minimum Rural Class C Certificate issued by the Rural Municipal Administrators Association
Experience with Munisoft Software, Microsoft Office Programs and be able to conduct meetings with virtual attendants
Skills and Assets:
Excellent communication, time management and public relations skills
Proficiency in municipal accounting, municipal laws, human resources, payroll, asset management
The ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
Discretion with matters pertaining to confidentiality
Ability to organize and prioritize work, and meet deadlines while maintaining a high degree of accuracy
