Casual / Part-Time Early Childhood Educator

West Ridge Childcare Centre is seeking a passionate, energetic educator to join our team as soon as possible! If you're outgoing, take initiative, and work well in a team, wed love to hear from you.

About Us:
We care for children aged 6 weeks to 12 years and are open Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. We follow the Play and Exploration curriculum and close for all statutory holidays, including Boxing Day.

Position Details:
- This is a casual, on-call position to fill in when regular staff are away. Hours will vary, but well offer as many shifts as possible.

Responsibilities:
- Lead child-directed activities
- Set up engaging environments
- Supervise and support children
- Manage behaviours and document progress
- Build relationships and collaborate with the team

Requirements (all required unless noted):
- Clear Criminal Record Check & Vulnerable Sector Check (within 3 months)
- Valid First Aid & CPR certification
- Need Current/Valid Food Safety Certificate Level I
- Must be willing to enroll in ECE Level I if not already certified
Preferred: ECE Level I, II, or III; Food Safe certification

Wages:
No ECE: $15.35/hour
ECE I: $20.85 | ECE II: $24.00 | ECE III: $28.50
