Under the general supervision of the City Clerk, the Administration Assistant of the City Clerk will provide support to various administrative and records-related functions within the City of Weyburn. This is a temporary summer position intended to provide practical experience in municipal administration with a primary focus on records management and administrative support. The incumbent will assist with a range of tasks to support the efficient operation of the City of Weyburn. The role requires a high level of discretion and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost care and integrity.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION
Actively working towards a post-secondary degree or diploma in Administration, Business, Political Science, Human Resources, Labour Relations or other related field.
EXPERIENCE
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
Experience in a unionized environment, considered an asset
Familiarity with records management an asset
Experience working in an office environment is an advantage
