As part of the Department of Corporate Services, the City of Humboldt is seeking to fill one (1) full-time seasonal marketing & communications position. The position is expected to start early May and is anticipated to be approximately 4 months long.

Under the direction of the Communications Manager, the seasonal Marketing & Communications Worker will assist in coordinating marketing campaigns and materials for the City of Humboldt which involves presentations, social media, print, mailings, television advertisements, video, digital ads, and any other duties assigned by Corporate Services Administration.

Compensation:
-This is an in-scope (union) position under CUPE 2359 with a starting rate of pay of $19.07 per hour (2025 rate)
-Employees are eligible to participate in the Municipal Employees' Pension Plan
-Employees have access to a free leisure pass

Qualifications:
-Completion of Grade 12
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel
-Comfortable with social media
-Experience with WordPress
-Familiar with Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator
-Satisfactory Criminal Record Check
