Sask DLC Itinerant Substitute Teachers deliver high-quality instruction and assessment for students in Kindergarten to Grade 12 courses. This temporary full-time (1.0 FTE) position is based in a Sask DLC Campus and involves the daily delivery of Saskatchewan curriculum through both synchronous and asynchronous learning models as assigned by Campus Administration. Online Itinerant Substitute Teachers address elementary and/or high school curricula, possess a strong understanding of digital platforms such as Moodle and Microsoft Teams, and are committed to fostering an inclusive and engaging online learning environment. The Online Itinerant Substitute Teacher will also collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and administration to address daily teacher absences in all campus locations within Sask DLC.

Academics
Curriculum and Planning:
* Sask DLC uses a centralized model for course development, and content can be adapted for students aligned with the adaptive dimension.
* Provide high-quality synchronous and asynchronous program delivery to students in Kindergarten through Grade 12 using the centralized course content aligned with the Saskatchewan curriculum, engaging lessons and activities, formative and summative assessment, and meaningful resources.
* Integrate First Nation and Metis content, world views, ways of knowing and culture within the curriculum outcomes and program delivery.
* Ensure students understand the learning outcomes and they are easily identifiable in lessons and/or assignments.
Instruction and Assessment
* Teach engaging and effective online lessons, activities, and assignments tailored to individual student needs and using the adaptive dimension where applicable.
* Implement instructional strategies that promote student engagement, learning, and critical thinking.
* Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative assessments.
