Job Overview
We are seeking a caring and responsible Daycare Cook for our brand-new Centre. This position has the potential to be two-fold and could include some time caring for children as well.

Duties

Help create and maintain a menu following the rules and regulation of Early Learning and Childcare.
Maintain Inventory and food supplies.
Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen environment.
Be aware of food allergies and ensure allergy safety.
Maintain safety and wellbeing of children in the Centre.

Qualifications

A current police record check including a vulnerable sector check.
A Certificate in safe food handling from Saskatchewan Health Authority
Prior experience in food service, food handling, or working in a kitchen environment is a plus
Knowledge of meal preparation techniques
Experience with serving food to children in a childcare setting is desirable
Strong communication skills and patience when working with young children
Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in communicating in English through spoken and written word.
Certification in CPR or first aid is preferred but not required
A genuine passion for caring for children and supporting their development
Any experience working with children is an asset but not a requirement
