Job Description: Within a multidisciplinary team provides professional leadership as a speech and language pathologist in the development and process of clinical consultative services with the Kids First Program and the children and families they serve.

Education
- Master of Speech Language Pathology (SLP)
Licenses
- Licensed or eligible for licensure with Saskatchewan Association of Speech and Language Pathologists and Audiologists.
Experience
- Clinical experience in a child community setting.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge:- Knowledge of infant and preschool development
- Knowledge of speech and language development and disorders
- Knowledge of models of assessment and therapeutic interventions appropriate for the treatment of children's speech and language diagnoses and the inter-related emotional disturbances, learning disabilities, socialization and behavioral problems with at risk populations
- Knowledge of aboriginal culture, values and traditions and their impact on accessing formal/mental health services
- Knowledge of the Mental Health Act, the Family Services Act and the Saskatchewan Model of Recovery
- Knowledge of community resources
