Houghton Boston Printers is looking for a driven, relationship-oriented Field Sales Representative to help grow our presence in the Saskatchewan market.
We are looking for someone who enjoys being out in the field, opening doors, creating opportunities, and building new client relationships.
At Houghton Boston, we believe strong client relationships are built in person. This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional who takes initiative, follows through, and thrives on winning new business.
What You Will Do
Prospect and develop new business opportunities with local Saskatchewan companies
Conduct in-person meetings with business owners and decision-makers
Identify client needs and recommend print solutions that align with their goals
Plan and manage daily, weekly, and monthly sales activity to maximize territory coverage and efficiency
Follow up consistently and professionally on leads, meetings, and proposals
Work closely with internal sales support and management to ensure a smooth handoff and excellent client experience
What We Are Looking For
A confident, self-motivated sales professional who enjoys the hunt for new business
Strong communication and listening skills
A disciplined approach to time management, prospecting, and follow-up
The ability to uncover needs, handle objections, and move opportunities forward
A valid drivers license and reliable vehicle for travel within Saskatchewan
Post-secondary education in business, marketing, communications, or equivalent experience is an asset
Experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or a similar client-facing role is an asset
Print industry experience is an asset, but not required
