Strong communication, problemsolving, and the ability to work in potentially highrisk or emotionally challenging situations are essential. A bachelors degree in social work, psychology, education psychology, nursing, or a related human services field is typically required, along with experience delivering therapeutic, behavioural, or rehabilitative services. Experience supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities is an asset. A valid drivers licence and willingness to travel, including overnight, are required.
