The ministry offers a seasonal labour opportunity supporting highway safety through flagging and light equipment operation in the Kindersley/Eston Section. This entrylevel role provides handson experience with new technologies and equipment, teamwork focused on public safety, and work that varies with climate and operational needs. The ministry is looking for someone who can work in physically demanding conditions, adapt to changing situations, and contribute positively to a diverse and respectful work environment.

The ideal candidate is approachable, flexible, selfmotivated, and able to interact professionally with the public and coworkers. They must be comfortable with physical labour, heavy lifting, climbing, and working in extreme weather. Key skills include keeping accurate logs, understanding basic equipment servicing, and having entrylevel knowledge of occupational health, hazardous materials, and workplace safety. Knowledge of traffic control procedures is an asset. A graduated Class 5 licence is required, along with the ability to travel and work flexible hours.
