DUTIES
Manage and coordinate office administrative operations, while assessing and implementing updated methods for increased efficiency.
Oversee employees and contractors working in Saskatchewan and remotely, manage the calendars of any remote and Regina based lawyers and articling students, manage the cash, accounting and finances of law practice.
Oversee and manage the calendar and scheduling, payment of invoices etc. of lawyers who are members of the Law Society of Saskatchewan.
Act as Commissioner of Oaths, manage and appear in Saskatchewan courts on non-contested summary court matters in Saskatchewan as instructed in your capacity as a Limited Licensee of the Law Society of Saskatchewan
Organize and oversee office support services, including space management, office moves, equipment procurement, supply ordering, form management, asset disposal, maintenance, and security.
Perform evaluations and supervise administrative aspects of budgeting, contracts, and project planning and coordination.
Prepare monthly accounting reconciliations and reports for the law practice as required by the Law Society of Saskatchewan and other Law Societies.
Compile data and generate various reports, manuals, and formal communications as needed.
Oversee cash management, payment of expenses, banking and accounting records.
Manage and monitor employees and contractors in Saskatchewan and elsewhere in Canada.
Multiple languages is an asset and knowledge and experience dealing with a criminal defence law practice is a definite asset, law society certifications are a big benefit.
