Duties and responsibilities:
Reporting to the Program Manager and under the direction of the Program Senior Supervisor the Supported Independent Living Coordinator assists adults experiencing disabilities, through arranging 1:1 support to help them achieve their unique independent living skills, goals and needs. The SILP Coordinator is responsible for and oversee all aspects of program delivery. This role involves occasional travel within Saskatoon and nearby communities.

Duties include:
-    Hiring, coordinating, scheduling, and providing direction, guidance and supervision to SILP Support Workers
-    Application processing and developing Person-Centered Plans with clients and their support team members to coordinate and oversee SILP programming
-    Develop and implement strategies to assist clients with achieving their goals and address any behavioral issues
-    Document information, including Person Centered Plans, Safety Plans, file recordings and incident reports.
-    Provide direct SILP services as needed.
-       Possible evening, weekend and on call shifts

Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
-    Bachelors degree in human services field (i.e., Social Work, Education, Sociology, Psychology)
-    Three to five years experience working in a related field.
Skills:
-    Leadership, organizational and problem-solving skills, and a high degree of conflict resolution ability
-    Ability to express and formulate ideas and information in a clear and concise manner (verbal and written)
-    Proficient computer skills
-       Valid drivers license and a personal vehicle
