Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Printing and Press Machine Operator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating printing and heat pressing machinery to produce custom designs on headwear, apparel, and ensuring quality standards are maintained throughout the production process. The types of equipment operated will be Vinyl printers & Heat presses.

Responsibilities
Set up, operate, and maintain printing and pressing machines associated with apparel production.
Follow design specifications and color-matching requirements. Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
Maintain and troubleshoot machinery to minimize downtime.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment. Collaborate with the design and production teams to meet deadlines.
Design and/or photoshop experience will be considered an asset.
* Ensuring orders are accounted for and inventory is accurate.

Skills
Proven experience operating printing and pressing machines in a manufacturing setting. Or similar experience operating equipment in manufacturing industry.
Knowledge of different printing techniques
Ability to read and interpret technical work orders and design files.
Attention to detail and strong quality focus.
Good manual dexterity and physical stamina.
* Able to work alone up to 8 hours.
* Able to stand for up to 8 hours per day.
Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills are a plus.
Knowledge of sewing is a bonus.
