Description

The Ministry of Community Safety (CS), Provincial Protective Services (PPS), is dedicated to protecting people, natural resources and critical infrastructure across Saskatchewan. The ministry offers a fastpaced, diverse environment supporting a wide range of protective and investigative services, including conservation officers, highway patrol, SCAN investigators, CS Officers, Deputy Sheriffs and other specialized units. The branch is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Executive Coordinator to support the Assistant Commissioners and contribute to an inclusive, professional team.

They are looking for a proactive, wellorganized selfstarter who excels in fastmoving environments and handles sensitive information with discretion; is energetic, attentive to detail, tactful, and able to adapt to shifting priorities while maintaining strong leadership, communication and teamwork skills.

Key knowledge and skills include experience with government structures, protocols, cabinet and budget processes, as well as advanced Microsoft Office skills, calendar management, spreadsheets, databases and familiarity with MIDAS. Candidates should understand budget preparation, expenditure monitoring, fiscal forecasting and material acquisitions. Education may include an Office Education Certificate, Business Administration, Business Certificate/Diploma or equivalent, combined with significant experience supporting senior leaders.

Responsibilities include planning and prioritizing meetings and travel; preparing, formatting and proofreading confidential correspondence, reports, ministerial documents and meeting materials; managing referral tracking systems; processing expenditures and purchase card reconciliations; maintaining records through ARMS and FOIPaligned filing; establishing administrative procedures; and more.
