Description

Nipawin Housing Authority manages a property and program services portfolio on behalf of Saskatchewan Housing Corporation. The Housing Authority provides affordable housing to seniors, families, and others, who could not otherwise access safe, secure shelter within Nipawin and neighboring communities.

The Housing Authority has a seasonal opportunity for a self-motivated, results oriented Seasonal Grounds Maintenance Worker to join the team for the busy summer months from May  August 2026.

If you are a fresh air enthusiast and love working outdoors, this is the position for you!
Responsibilities vary from day to day and include mowing lawns, weeding, fertilizing, cleaning, trimming, pruning trees and shrubs, and picking up garbage.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Minimum Grade 12, or equivalent, supplemented by related grounds keeping experience.
  Knowledge of and experience using groundskeeping equipment, hand and power tools.
Positive personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated initiative, flexibility, efficiency, time management and good judgment.
Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously, and work amongst tenants and the public.
Ability to maintain confidentiality, work independently and meet deadlines.
Recognition of, and respect for, people's diversity.
A reliable vehicle and cell phone are required.

An acceptable Criminal Record Check is a condition of employment and will be required upon hire.

This is a full-time, seasonal term position to work Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
