Description

Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of full-time Assistant Team Leader onsite at our Convenience Store/Gas Bar in Air Ronge, Saskatchewan.

What You Will Do:
Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operatives vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach.
Provide an exceptional customer experience at all touch points through various communication channels.
Assist with building and leading a high-performance team that delivers on budgeted targets by maximizing operational efficiency.
Lead the Convenience store team in providing quality service and convenience.
Ensure inventories are managed and protected in compliance with management standards and practices to maintain high levels of accuracy and minimal loss.
Ensure the department is displaying, stocking, and rotating merchandise as per company policy and standard with a focus on maintaining image and brand standards.
Provide superior leadership to team members through coaching, mentoring, performance management and feedback.
Become familiar with and adhere to Lake Country Co-op policies such as selling of age restricted items and all government regulations relating to tobacco and lottery.
Oversee the completion of daily reports, reconciliations, and purchases.
Champion the Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, procedures.
Perform minor repairs to assets as required.
Perform all other duties as required.
You have 2 years of Retail Convenience Store management experience
You are available for day travel and some overnight travel within the Lake Country Co-op trading area to attend seminars, meetings, training programs and other events.
You carry a valid Class 5 license and must have reliable vehicle for daily trips in the Air Ronge area; you will be reimbursed by Lake Country Co-op for business related expenses.
