The Service Advisor is the heartbeat of the fast-moving and busy Service Department. Working closely with the Service Manager and Assistant Service Manager, this role is responsible for providing administrative support, assisting customers, and ensuring repair orders and estimates move smoothly from the initial call through to completion and payment.
Key Abilities:
- Managing and maintaining work orders and service estimates from start to finish
- Supporting the Service Department with administrative and accounting-related tasks
- Providing excellent customer service in person and over the phone
- Maintaining organized service department records and filing systems
- Assisting customers with inquiries and processing payments
Ideal candidate will possess the following:
- A friendly, outgoing personality with strong customer service skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Attention to detail and strong computer skills (typing, spreadsheets, and word processing)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
