Description

The Ministry of SaskBuilds and Procurements Procurement Management Division provides professional procurement services that support government programs, strengthen the economy, and improve outcomes for Saskatchewan people. The Strategic Sourcing Branch is seeking innovative and clientfocused Procurement Business Partners in Regina. They are looking for responsible, strategic professionals with strong leadership, communication and influencing skills who can work collaboratively with ministries, agencies and Crown corporations. The ideal candidate is detailoriented, analytical, able to resolve conflict respectfully, and skilled at presenting complex information clearly. Candidates should bring strong problemsolving, organization and relationshipbuilding abilities, along with experience working under tight timelines to create, edit and format documents.

Key knowledge and skills include understanding procurement policy, standards and expectations; conducting complex competitive procurement processes; interpreting legislation; managing contracts; identifying risks and trends; and providing expert advice to support informed decisionmaking. Experience working in the public sector, leading endtoend procurements, and using procurement systems or data tools is considered an asset.

Qualifications may include a Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) designation or an undergraduate degree in a related field. Project management designations such as PMP or Prince2 are also assets. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
