Job Description: Specialists are responsible for performing various key functions within the Primary Health portfolio. They will demonstrate systems thinking, knowledge and experience with innovative approaches of change and project management to support an environment of continuous quality improvement within a matrix structure. They will demonstrate knowledge and experience of clinical best practices and support innovative approaches in the delivery of clinical services. The Specialist is responsible for implementing Primary Health Care projects that connect to the goals and objectives of the Saskatchewan Health Authority.
The Specialist demonstrates strong leadership to enable an innovative and positive working climate and a client-centric culture. The Specialist must work cross functionally within the portfolio and across the organization to support operations. The Specialist will develop partnerships and work closely with system and community partners.
Human Resources Exemption: No
Education
- Degree in Health Sciences and/or Administration
Other education and training
- Licensed, and in good standing, with regulatory body, if applicable
Experience
- 3 - 5 years experience developing and leading innovative projects.
