Description

All Ways of Caring is seeking compassionate and dependable Caregivers/PSWs to provide high-quality, person-centred support to clients in their homes and community settings. This role supports comfort, safety, dignity, and independence by delivering care in accordance with the clients care plan and All Ways of Caring standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) as outlined in the care plan and within your training/scope (e.g., bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility support).
Support clients with light housekeeping, meal preparation, errands, and companionship, as required.
Follow the clients care plan as directed by the Care Designer and report concerns or changes in condition promptly.
Assist with safe transfers, ambulation, positioning, and exercises as instructed/trained; use mobility aids and equipment safely.
Promote client safety, comfort, and well-being; maintain professional boundaries and client confidentiality.
Document care and relevant observations accurately and thoroughly, using company tools/processes.
Work within the limits of your competence and training; ask for guidance when care needs exceed your scope.

Qualifications and Requirements
Ability to drive and travel.
Previous experience in caregiving, assisted living, or related fields is preferred.
Knowledge of medication administration and basic healthcare practices is a plus.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
Satisfactory Criminal Record Check with Vulnerability Sector Search completed within the last year.
Current First Aid & CPR certification
