Duties and responsibilities:
- General office management reception duties; effectively manages and prioritizes correspondence; responds to in person, phone and email inquiries; maintains filing systems; ensures confidential handling of documents; ensures deadlines are met.
- Composes, reviews, and edits confidential correspondence; prepares and distributes agendas, minutes, memos, and maintains records of meetings.
- Coordinates a variety of special projects.
- Liaises with information technology support, to ensure information technology is performing effectively and efficiently.
- Coordinates employee recruitment and employee orientation; responsible for all employee commencement and termination processes.
- Maintains staff training records and organizational charts on an on-going basis.
- Provides coverage for Receptionist and Operations Administrative Assistant as needed.
Qualifications:
- Completion of a recognized administration program with five years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills:
- Strong judgment, discretion, and ability to handle confidential matters.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
