The Saskatchewan Prevention Institute is seeking a full-time (1.0 FTE-37.5 hrs/wk) Corporate and Office Administrator. The Corporate and Office Administrator reports to the Executive Director and is responsible for providing administrative support to the Executive Director, Board of Directors, and staff. The Corporate and Office Administrator represents the Prevention Institute in communication with the public, stakeholders, and staff and is required to demonstrate the values of the organization and be a leader in effective communication and teamwork. The Corporate and Office Administrator works closely with the Accountant, Office Administrator and Financial Clerk, Executive Director, and other staff on a regular basis.
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Corporate and Office Administrator is specifically accountable for:
1. Board support and coordination
2. Funder and partner relations
3. Internal and external communications
4. Quality assurance and copy-editing
5. Human resource administration
6. Office administration, reception, and support
7. Resource dissemination and inventory
8. Administrative assistance for the Executive Director
Required Qualifications
1. Certificate or diploma from an accredited business college
2. 3+ years of related office experience
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Teams, Excel and Outlook
4. Copy editing skills, with a strong understanding of grammar, spelling, formatting, and proofreading techniques
5. Strong organizational and time-management skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks
6. Valid Saskatchewan Driver's License
7. Typing speed of 60 WPM
