Description

The Hotel Chief Engineer works in a fast-paced hotel environment, often requiring flexibility to address maintenance issues as they arise, including working evenings and weekends when necessary and is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of all hotel facilities, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for guests and staff.
Key Responsibilities
Maintenance Management: Oversee routine, preventive, and emergency maintenance of all hotel facilities, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.

Team Leadership: Manage and train the engineering team, ensuring that all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards.
Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and building regulations, coordinating with local inspectors as necessary.
Guest Relations: Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests, ensuring a high level of service and satisfaction.
Preventive Maintenance Programs: Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to prolong the life of hotel equipment and facilities.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and service histories for all hotel equipment.
