Description

PWM Hydraulics is a hydraulic cylinder manufacturer. We are currently looking for a permanent full-time based individual in our Yorkton Plant.

We pride ourselves in producing high quality custom cylinders to meet our customers needs, from our in-house engineering design to the finished product being delivered on our customers specified schedule. Our focus is providing this service to agricultural, mining, industrial, oil & gas, as well as the transportation sector to help them achieve more productivity and profit.

We are looking to hire a motivated & hard-working Welder or Apprentice in our Yorkton plant. The ideal candidate should be able to read and follow drawings, work independently and with a team, and maintain strong attention to detail in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret design drawings to ensure welds meet specifications
- Use measurement tools such as tape measures, calipers, and micrometers
- Perform welding operations with MIG, TIG, or robotic-assisted equipment
- Operate power tools including grinders, drill presses, and hand tools
- Perform basic maintenance on welding equipment and related machinery
- Multi-task and manage time efficiently to meet production schedules
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions
- Conscious of and adherence to safe work practices
- Support Quality Control objectives, including work within ISO environments

Requirements:
- Previous welding experience or enrollment as a welding apprentice
- Understanding of manufacturing processes such as welding, machining, or assembly is an asset
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Must live in Canada and have permission to work in Canada
