Description

We are a custom hydraulic & pneumatic manufacturing company with products exported globally. We pride ourselves in producing high quality custom cylinders to meet our customers needs, from our in-house engineering design to the finished product being delivered on our customers specified schedule. Our focus is providing this service to agricultural, mining, industrial, oil & gas, as well as the transportation sector to help them achieve more productivity & profit.
We are looking to hire a motivated & hard-working grant writer in our Yorkton plant. As a grant writer you will focus on identifying, qualifying, & producing funding proposals in response to multiple opportunities to support the organizations operations.

Responsibilities:
-Conduct research & gather information to develop & submit grant applications from multiple sources (government-federal, provincial, private, etc.)
-Clearly articulate communications that meet expectations & a high standard of quality
-Thoroughly review, understand, & communicate grant & proposal requirements to develop submission in line with Funder needs (pre & post grant)
-Transpose grant information to online application portals
-Assist in maintaining/creating development tools  templates, graphics, analysis reports, presentations, etc.
-Establish & maintain working relationships with grant funders
Skills/Requirements:
-Previous experience in grant writing preferred
-Skilled in maintaining confidentiality, problem solving & decision making
-Detail-oriented with above-average organizational, verbal, & written communication skills as well as excellent grammar, spelling, proofreading, & composition skills
-Demonstrated ability to write clear, well structured, articulate & persuasive proposals
-Efficient multi-tasking & time management in fast-paced environment
-Proficient in project planning to ensure timely completion of assignments
-Strong attention to detail & accuracy
-Familiar with Microsoft Office software
