The Saskatoon & Region Home Builders Association (SRHBA) is the voice of the residential construction industry in Saskatoon and surrounding communities. Since 1955, we've supported member success through advocacy, professionalism, and opportunities for growth. We are seeking a full time dynamic, relationship-driven Membership & Events Coordinator to join our team. This full-time position is a key role supporting member engagement and association events. Must be located in or willing to relocate to Saskatoon, SK.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead recruitment, retention, and engagement strategies to grow SRHBA membership.
Identify, screen, and evaluate prospective members to ensure alignment with SRHBA values.
Manage the full member lifecycle, including onboarding, probationary check-ins, engagement support, and exit processes.
Ensure member compliance with SRHBAs Code of Ethics through monitoring, education, and follow-up.
Coordinate networking events and deliver meaningful member meetings (Builder, Renovator, Developer).
Support major projects and events (HomeStyles, Parade of Homes, Housing Excellence Awards, Builders Classic Golf Tournament), working closely with the Major Projects and Events Manager.
Collaborate with the Marketing & Communications Manager to highlight and promote members.
Maintain accurate membership data in SRHBAs CRM.
Prepare membership status reports for the Board and national office.
Support advocacy initiatives, policy development, and stakeholder engagement.
Act as first contact for public complaints under SRHBAs process and ensure proper follow-up.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree and 3+ years in membership, events, stakeholder relations, or association management.
Demonstrated success in member recruitment, engagement, and retention.
Strong communication, relationship-building & organizational skills a must
