Description

The Early Years Family Resource Centre (EYFRC), located at the Regina Early Learning Centre, is seeking a motivated and reliable Summer Student Program Assistant to support family programming and daily centre operations during the summer months.

The EYFRC provides free programs and resources for families with children ages 05 in a welcoming, inclusive community setting.

Duties and Responsibilities:
-Assist staff with preparation and delivery of early childhood and family programming
-Support play-based activities for children ages 05
-Help set up and clean program spaces and materials
-Welcome families and assist with sign-in procedures
-Support indoor and outdoor programming
-Organize program materials and supplies
-Assist with general program and centre support as needed

Qualifications:
-Experience working with young children and families is an asset
-Interest in Early Childhood Education, Social Work, Education, or related fields
-Strong interpersonal and communication skills
-Ability to work in a team environment
-Reliable and organized

Requirements:
-Eligible to work as a summer student
-Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector (or willingness to obtain)
-First Aid/CPR is considered an asset
