Description

NorSask is a stud lumber manufacturing facility located just outside of Meadow Lake, SK and is proudly owned by the Meadow Lake Tribal Council. This is a site-wide position, where you will work in a variety of areas.  

Duties include: clean up, handling and lifting materials, as well as general labourer responsibilities. You will also assist with cover-off of different positions throughout the site when required.

You must be hardworking with a strong work ethic and available to work 8-hour shifts. There may also be a requirement to work various shifts, including graveyards. You will have weekends off.

You will have strong communication skills with the ability to work in a team environment, as well as a demonstrated willingness to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.

QUALIFICATIONS
-    Must be 18yrs old (prior to start date)
-    Must be available to work approximately 12 to 16 straight weeks (May  August).
-    Valid Drivers License and reliable vehicle (worksite is east of Meadow Lake)
-    100% committed to safety through words and actions
-    Willingness to work any shift, including graveyards
-    Strong communication skills and the ability to work alone or as part of a team is required
-    Ability to meet physical requirements of the job including long periods of standing, bending, exposure  
to a variety of temperatures, and lifting lumber, occasionally up to 50 pounds.
-    Must be enrolled in a training/education program

Start date:  Negotiable - dependent on applicant availability and course timeframes
