The Ministry of Social Services offers a permanent fulltime Child Protection Supervisor role in Buffalo Narrows, supporting positive outcomes for children, families, and communities. The ministry seeks individuals committed to helping others, strengthening families, and practicing a Family Centered Case Management approach. The role provides protective, preventative, and support services while ensuring high standards of care and practice across Child and Family Program staff. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership experience, the ability to coach and support employees, and knowledge of child protection issues, socioeconomic factors, and multicultural beliefs, particularly First Nations and Mtis perspectives. Candidates should be skilled in assessing and developing case plans, managing change, interpreting policy, and building collaborative relationships grounded in connection and community. Responsibilities include supervising staff, delivering SDM model training, supporting policy and service implementation, liaising with community partners, ensuring quality service delivery, and representing the ministry on committees. A Bachelor of Social Work or Bachelor of Indigenous Social Work and several years of child protection and supervisory experience are required.
